Accepted to Attend ComSciConCAN

I am very proud to say that I have been accepted as one of the 50 (out of almost 400!!) to participate in Canada's first science communication workshop for graduate students - ComSciConCAN!

The workshop will take place at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario from July 18-20, 2019. 

By attending ComSciConCAN, I aim to become a leader in science communication in my field, and aid in bridging the disconnect between the science we do in academia, and the fishers and policymakers that are impacted by our results and recommendations.
